2K Games asked us to create dozens of custom backgrounds for NBA2K in multiple styles. To ensure we didn't stagnate and repeat the graphic treatments over and over again, six of our design staff worked on this project simultaneously, only reviewing each others work at the end of the project.
Our team was grateful to design such a varied collection of gamer plates and backgrounds with a client who allowed us huge amounts of creative freedom. Thanks 2k Games!
We were provided an array of themes and possibilities, and no limitations. The brief was simple: pick a theme, make it look cool. Have fun. The result: over 80 designs for favourite players, themes, affiliations, teams, landmark dates, festivals and sponsors.
