“A great industry event which is growing in stature every year.”

A few years back, a guy we know - Jimmy 'the Captain' Cowan, of Yes Captain - thought it would be a good idea to put together a one-day event for both students and professionals in our industry. He called it Node Fest.
At its centre is an open competition which is judged both by industry leaders as well as online by everyone – a “People’s Choice” award.
The rules are simple.
15 seconds of animation or graphic design… based on a theme (this year it was “Dimensions”)… and it must end with the Node Fest logo.
Dozens entered and over 400 attended the event. No, we didn’t win, but our entry was certainly up there with the best of them and got lots of votes online.
Oh well… next year.
The entry deadline kinda snuck up on Callan on this one. “Too busy working on our client’s business” was his excuse. But deadlines can bring out the best in some.
This execution featured a style Callan has been working with recently. Lots of 3D action. Nice graphics and design. Lots of colour and movement, working seamlessly to end in the logo.
Sounds like a plan.
