Our opening sequence for Live on Bowen
We were stoked to create the broadcast graphics for the TV variety show Live on Bowen, which plays on Channel 31! This included the opening sequence, two-way boxes, backgrounds, lower thirds (supers) and more.
You may be surprised to hear Live on Bowen is filmed live. There are many hilarious improvised elements - anything can happen! So, in designing the “look” of this show, we really wanted to capture the program’s offbeat, fun-loving spirit.
The opening sequence features photo cutouts of the five presenters’ heads superimposed onto animated figures. It’s how we imagined the various modes of transportation they would employ to make their way to the studio: driving their own taxi, sitting atop a rocket and riding a donkey!
