Our opening sequence for Lee Chan's Cravings

This title sequence is as delicious and decadent as the topic of the show it introduces! Lee Chan’s Cravings is an online lifestyle show created by the production company Moon Room Films.

Chan first came to prominence as a contestant on Channel Seven’s hit series My Kitchen Rules in 2011, making it all the way the the grand final. She then worked as a presenter on Coxy’s Big Break and hosted her own travel and cooking show on National Geographic Asia: Lee Chan’s World Food Tour.

Chan and her production team came to us requesting a vibrant and enthusiastic intro for the show, specifically incorporating the elements of “fun, colour, energy and nostalgia”.

Since the show is about a foodie’s journey through the streets of Australian cities, we decided to execute the brief by depicting precisely that!

“We chose to use Melbourne’s cultural and culinary scene as the canvas to represent the show,” Jumbla Creative Director Oz Smith said.

“The thought bubbles are then a depiction of the title: Lee Chan’s Cravings. Eventually, she’s gonna have to pick something to devour, but in the meantime, why not enjoy the journey?”

Indeed, the grungy streets and laneways of Melbourne are as much a feast for the eyes as the stomach! Using Photoshop and After Effects, the team served up a smorgasbord of iconic dishes and destinations to create an opening sequence that really whets the appetite!
