Pulling apart complex ideas and working written concepts into a format that’s nice to look at and also informs is an element of animation that isn’t always apparent. This is a key skill our creative team are often asked to do.
University technology of Sydney (UTS) wanted to explain ‘What is Quantum Computing and Software’ with just a few key other messages:
These complex messages needed to make sense to a mainstream audience and also inspire interest.
With so many messages on a technical topic, one of the first steps was nailing a script that could use kinetic text to reinforce visuals.
UTS provided their style guide and colour palette and Jumbla created a fluid animation using 2D and 3D elements. The goal was to create an animation that’s simple but effective. It needed to be smooth with an aspirational and emotive feel to encourage students to find out more about the course.
Layer on a tailored track by our in-house sound designer and we had ourselves a neat package of Quantum computing intrigue.
The final piece delivered an engaging and informative piece that captured the topics.
