A unique project with a unique purpose. Headspace, the national youth mental health foundation, was integrating a new digital system and it needed to recapture information.
This video was to speak to kids and make them feel safe about signing up. We needed to explain that their details would be kept secure, in a fun and positive way.
We at Jumbla came up with the idea for the theme. We submitted three styles: a comic book featuring superheros, a minimalist Lichtenstein pop-art style and a scrapbook photomontage.
Headspace organised a focus group with 20 kids who use their services, aged between 13 and 18. The one they overwhelmingly responded best to... was the comic book and superhero theme!
The video - which was adaptable for multiple languages and for the hearing impaired - was very well-received, with the comic book theme proving to be universally appealing.
It was accompanied by a print campaign (posters and pamphlets) and we were thrilled to hear Headspace regarded it as a great success that hit its objectives!
