"We fell into working together very easily, and at every turn they have been a joy. It’s the combination of smart people who genuinely get on board with your project and then deliver with skill and craft. You can tell that Jumbla take pride in what they do and how they go about doing it."

We all know the saying 'good things come in small packages'. But when you’re short on time and need to condense a video into just a few seconds, how do you convey and communicate an entire brand’s unique identity?
When the client is Atomic 212º (a full-service advertising agency exploding with dynamic and creative ideas), you have to create something really special.
Thankfully, Jumbla's Senior Motion Designer Cornel Swoboda was on it from the get-go. His rationale was to create a logo animation without actually redesigning the logo. Instead, the piece would focus almost exclusively on the surrounding textures and backgrounds.
The video transitions through a vast array of surfaces and elements, including cold industrial concrete walls, warm fiery backgrounds, discotheque-friendly leather walls, and comforting feathers. Cornel took inspiration from the agency’s interior design and brand name, bouncing atom-like spheres electrically across a geometric mat.
The inclusion of elements found within Atomic 212º’s real-life office space gives the viewer an intimate insight into the brand’s personality. The number of visual styles along with the extensive animation on show was also a reflection of Atomic 212’s creative knowhow and imaginative ideas.
Of the 10 different styles Cornel managed to squeeze into this seven-second sequence, eight were 3D and two were 2D. Cornel used Cinema 4D and Octane Renderer to create the 3D animations, whereas 2D styles such as the clock at the end were hand drawn.
Atomic 212º thought that Cornel’s work was ‘the bomb’ and commissioned Jumbla to expand each of the styles to five-second 4K sequences. Cornel has to take the credit for this one - taking a relatively small brief and transforming it into a seven-second visual onslaught that expresses the client’s identity and capabilities with absolute mastery.
"I don’t know if I stumbled across Jumbla, or if they stumbled across me. Regardless, we fell into working together very easily and at every turn they have been a joy.

"There are very few shops in the world where you find that comfort zone right away, where you just start working. Jumbla is one of them."
