Animation and motion graphics studio, Jumbla, is proud to announce that they have been recognised at 2017’s Muse Creative Awards Competition. The studio, based in Melbourne and London, took home seven trophies - winning three Gold trophies for a series of pre-rolls for Lenovo, event graphics for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, and an explainer video for Childwise - one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit child abuse prevention organisations.
On top of the three Golds, Jumbla also scored four sought after Platinum awards - which represent the diversity of their work and abilities.
One Platinum win awarded Jumbla’s work alongside world-renowned creative agency, McCann, where the agencies worked together to create a series of event graphics to advertise The University of Melbourne’s Open Day. This wasn’t the first win for this animation, having previously taken home a Centuri Award at the Vega Awards.
Another Muse trophy was awarded to recognise the studio’s collaboration with three-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome, which resulted in the multi-awarded Yellow: a visually spellbinding animation, released on Froome’s social media channels, having been presented by medical technology company Rhinomed – the sponsor for the cyclist’s campaign for a third Tour de France win. Our win for Yellow represented animation’s fourth award, previously winning, amongst others, a coveted Honoree Award at the Webby Awards - one of the most sought after awards in the industry.
Jumbla also received a Muse Platinum trophy for a video game cinematic that the studio animated for League of Legends - the most popular online game in the world, attracting 27 million players per day. The clip was made to introduce the new playable character: Ivern, the Green Father. The hard work of the collaboration has paid off, with the clip – at last count – receiving more than 5 million views on Facebook and 2.7 million views on YouTube.
The studio received their final Platinum award for Carben Creative, a landing page animation for a creative branding agency, which represented their third win for that work.
‘We’re hugely proud to be recognised at the Muse Creative Awards,’ says Steven Bradshaw, Jumbla’s head of production. ‘The studio has been working incredibly hard over the past year - branching out our abilities and employing new and innovative design techniques. It’s great to see that dedication be recognised at such a prestigious award ceremony.’
